Hiking Trip Report: More Hiking From Logan Pass

Today the wife, a friend, and I decided to hike the Highline Trail in Glacier National Park.
No. We did not have an ice axe, crampons, or the skill to use those items. No boots, map, compass or route finding skills either!
This trail was quite precarious but there was a garden hose mounted to the side of the rock for us to hold onto when things got sketchy.
Pump the brakes and drive slow homey!
That's Lake McDonald nestled between the mountains.
That's the Chalet 7.6 miles from the trailhead. After taking a leak at the Chalet we hiked an additional 4.0 miles down the loop trail to the loop. We finished tired, but excited to get out again!

  1. It's like when you graduate high school and go off in the world. You miss your family, but you know it's time to go off and try new things. But it's really a bittersweet thing. When we left home, we made sure it was on good terms - so it would be a place we could go back to, should the journey end badly.
